Volunteer Opportunities

During the active years of Music City Couples we were led by a wonderful leadership of committed couples, providing creative ideas and direction that help to make Music City Couples the safe place it was for gay/lesbian and committed couples to come together for social gatherings and sharing holidays, special events, and wholesome friendship.  If you are interested in breathing new life into Music City Couples and are interested and dedicated, please reach out to Larry and Bobby on Facebook

MUSIC CITY COUPLES is always looking for member couples to volunteer as hosts for an activity. Do you have a favorite activity that would make a great MUSIC CITY COUPLES event? If so, contact our activities coordinators,
Larry & Bobby They will help you make plans.

Unfortunately, MUSIC CITY COUPLES does not run itself. It takes a Steering committee made up of couples performing various tasks to make this group prosper. Currently, there are only two member couples who are on the steering committee. We would love it if you would volunteer to join us. All it takes is a few hours of your time each month, and a commitment to attend most of our monthly meetings at the Center. Among the positions that you could volunteer to do are:

• Chair couple - This couple is responsible for conducting the monthly meetings, and overseeing the general running of MUSIC CITY COUPLES.

• Activities Couple - This couple is responsible for arranging and coordinating activities for the group.

• Finance Couple - This couple is responsible for maintaining all financial records of MUSIC CITY COUPLES.

• Membership Couple - This couple is responsible for maintaining the membership lists, greeting both old and new members at our events.

• Communications Couple - this couple is responsible for producing the monthly newsletter, maintaining the website, and responding to requests for information about MUSIC CITY COUPLES received through email or our voice-mail.
